After watching Dalton Risner in action for the past couple of weeks, the Vikings felt good enough about his play to move on from Ezra Cleveland.A source confirmed to the Pioneer Press on Tuesday that the Vikings have traded Cleveland to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round pick. There’s a good chance Risner would have continued as the starting left guard for the Vikings regardless of what happened at the trade deadline. That much is confirmed with Cleveland no longer a part of the organization.Originally selected by the Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft, Cleveland was set to be an unrestricted free agent after this season. He has missed the past couple of games with a foot injury.Related ArticlesMinnesota Vikings | Source: Vikings trading for quarterback Josh Dobbs in move with Cardinals Minnesota Vikings | Dane Mizutani: If this is the end, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins deserved better Minnesota Vikings | Vikings quar...Vikings trading for journeyman quarterback Josh Dobbs in move with Cardinals

After canvassing the market over the past 48 hours, the Vikings are trading for journeyman quarterback Josh Dobbs in a move with the Arizona Cardinals. This move was necessary after franchise quarterback Kirk Cousins suffered a torn Achilles tendon on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field while leading the Vikings to a win over the Green Bay Packers. It was a devastating blow for the Vikings at the time and forced them to act fast in the search for a replacement. That ultimately led the Vikings to the Cardinals and they acquired Dobbs and a 2024 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick.As the starter for the Cardinals this season, Dobbs has thrown for 1,569 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. Thoughtful HH debate is necessaryRe: “Do the math when deciding on Proposition HH,” Oct. 29 letters to the editor and “The true cost of raising the TABOR cap will be exponential Proposition HH,” Oct. 28 commentaryI appreciate the thoughtful letters in Sunday’s Denver Post favoring and opposing Proposition HH. The letters were well-crafted and expressed the writers’ points of view clearly and forcefully. They were a definite contrast to the op-ed authored by Douglas Bruce, which appeared in the Saturday paper. His lengthy opposition to Proposition HH contained the terms hate, scheme, cabal, scam, theft-vote, dirty money, fraudulent votes, attempt to buy, corrupt, and attack. I would characterize Bruce’s article as invective only, very short of persuasion.Mark McGoff, ArvadaIronically, Douglas Bruce, creator of the TABOR amendment, concluded his recent guest commentary with the directive, “Do it for the children,” while calling for a NO vote o...Deion Sanders: CU Buffs football robbery at Rose Bowl “a travesty”
