ROCKLAND – After drilling a potential game-winning 27-yard field goal in Friday’s South Shore league matchup between 4-0 teams Rockland and Norwell, a defensive penalty necessitated a redo for Rockland kicker Jacob Comman. The senior kicker wasn’t fazed, knocking the ball through the uprights to give the Bulldogs a 23-21 victory over the Clippers.“If you already did it once, you can easily do it again,” Comman said. “The game was on the line but I knew what I had to do, everyone was depending on me.”The kick gave the Bulldogs a lead for the first time with just three seconds remaining in the game. Entering the second half, a Rockland victory looked unlikely, to say the least.Norwell jumped out to a 7-0 lead on the first drive of the game with a 17-yard pass from quarterback Jack Luccarelli to wide receiver Jackson Adams. The Clippers would force a turnover and quickly score again, this time from a Luccarelli seven-yard run.The Bulldogs would return with force as quarterback Jor...

It was just a great game.”For the majority of the opening half, however, the Hawks found themselves being baited into Scituate’s game. The Sailors relied heavily on a ground-and-pound a...

The apartments opened in June 2023.  But Wood said early on in Target’s construction, Target decided to wait until an October open.  Then the retailer pushed back to an early 2024 opening, according to Wood.  Wood said the construction work for Target is 95% completed, including bringing in items such as coolers.
